Randy Katz is a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. His research interests include I/O controller design and high performance striped disk and tape subsystems. He has served on the White House Technology Task Force andVice President Gore`s `Reinventing Government` Task Force.
