Jedna podvučena rečenica, vrlo dobro očuvana.
Many consider Alexander Alekhine the greatest chess player of all time. His opponents, themselves masters, said he `would rather die than not win` and that chess `was the breath of life to him.` Alekhine himself simply said, `I dominate theem all.` This volume presents games of his vital formative years, 1905-1914. They show the change from a gifted but untrained youngster of 13 to a man with almost full grasp of his mature powers.
There are 100 games in this volume, each annotated by Fred Reinfeld. They include matches which Alekhine played against the greatest names in chess: Bernstein, Bogolyubov, Capablanca, Emanuel Lasker, Marshall, Rubinstein, Spielmann, Tarrasch, Znosko-Borovsky, and many others.
