Born in Rumenka, on 12 June 1933. Graduated in 1958, obtained his master’s degree in 1967, obtained his doctoral degree in 1978 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade.
Full Professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad (retired).

Areas of Research

River hydraulics and regulations of rivers, research of river processes in situ, stochastic research of river occurrences, mathematical modeling of river processes and numerical solution of partial differential equations using computers, mathematical models for calculation of deformation of river beds in natural conditions and under the influence of river regulatory structures, unsteady flow of water and sediment in rivers, functionality and stability of regulatory constructions, filling accumulation with river sediments. Planning method of water management systems, methods of evaluation of complex water management systems, development of mathematical models of running complex water management systems in real-time and processing water resources balance on a local and global level. System analysis, planning and management of the environmental protection systems, particularly the protection of waters, application of the theory of fuzzy sets to better define the categorization and classification of watercourse and classification of waters, application and development of GIS information systems in the field of water management and environmental protection.
