Prompted by the success of two 1979 singles in Spanish, `Chiquitita` and `Estoy Soñando`, ABBA decided to release a whole album in Spanish. Vocals in Spanish were recorded for 8 more existing ABBA songs. Whereas the 1979 backing tracks were identical to their English counterparts, the rest were newly mixed from the original multi-track tapes.
