Note:
The Apple computers can not support all model of NVMe M.2 NGFF solid state drives
The power-saving sleep mode may not be able to use. please enter `System Preferences`/ `Energy Saver`, then close`Power Adapter`/ `Put hard disks to sleep when possible` and`Battery`/ `Put hard disks to sleep when possible`. Then moved the “ Turn display off after” arrow to “ Never” position.
Please insert the original hard disk and update the system to the latest version (for example Mojave or later) before replacing the NVMe M.2 SSD. your computer can`t recognize the new hard disk if you haven`t installed Mojave or later Mac OS on your computer before replace NVMe M.2 NGFF SSD.
Please install the operating system and use the system USB disk (for example Mojave or later), the computer can not recognize the new hard disk if you use the internet recovery to recovery operating system or use Time Machine to recovery system.

About MacBook Air SSD interface standard:
2010 and 2011 version MacBook Air SSD is 6+12 pin, only one side have contact, size is 109 mm*24 mm. It`s SATA interface.
2012 version MacBook Air SSD is 7+17 pin, size is 109 mm*24 mm.2012 version MacBook Pro SSD is 7+17 pin, size is 89 mm*33 mm. It`s SATA interface.
2013 and 2014 and 2015 version MacBook Air SSD is both side have contact, one sid is 16+12 pin, the other side is 11+14 pin, size is 89 mm*24 mm. It`s PCIe X4 interface.
2013 and 2014 and 2015 version MacBook Pro SSD is both side have contact, one sid is 16+12 pin, the other side is 11+14 pin, size is 89 mm*33 mm. It`s PCIe X4 interface.

The product only support NVMe PCIe M.2 NGFF SSD for late 2013 version 2014 2015 2017 version Apple MacBook Air A1465 A1466 and late 2013 version 2014 2015 version Apple MacBook pro A1502 A1398.
The speed and other properties is not changed, only form conversion interface.

Warning:
This product can support late 2013 version and 2014 2015 2017 version Macbook air A1465 and A1466, it can support late 2013 version and 2014 2015 version Macbook Pro retina A1398 and A1502, Please confirm that your laptop is fit. The adapter card only support 22*80 mm size of NVMe and AHCI M.2 NGFF PCIe SSD, it can not support SATA M.2 NGFF PCIe solid state drives.
