`As the achievements of the First of September Revolution continue to grow, we offer them here in summary to the people of the world as an example of how a strong, self-confident society can be built on sound values which, for us, emanate from our Islamic-Arab heritage. This year we stress our new realities through heavy use of photographs to illustrate our revolutionary progress, following the ancient Chinese principle that one picture equals one thousand words. We also present, this year, a summary of some aspects of the Third International Theory, which is elaborated in greater detail in `The Green Book`. Whe hope that, by using the Libyan Arab Republic as a laboratory in which to prove the truth and practicability of the Third International Theory, we will be able to help all the peoples of the world who are seeking guidance through the maze of modern problems and crises. We invite all open-minded and humanitarian people throughout the world to visit the Libyan Arab Republic and see for themselves what we have achieved in the past six years, so they will not be misled by the distorsions about us published in the imperialist, racist and Zionist mass media. The Libyan Arab Republic calls upon all concerned people to study our achievements and our principles and to participate with us in building a sane and happy world, based upon mutual respect and co-operation among nations and individuals.
