About the Author
Edward Lucie-Smith was born in 1933 in Kingston, Jamaica, and schooled at Oxford. He has published over 100 books, including Sexuality in Western Art and Latin American Art of the 20th Century. He lives in London and travels extensively.

What a glorious book!! I am now waiting for my fifth purchase of this magnificent book to arrive here in Melbourne Australia.I am an angel fan and this book is both informative and an absolute visual delight. Fra Angelico`s angels on the cover first drew me in in a Melbourne bookshop and I was captivated from then on. I have given four of these books to friends and am waiting for my copy to arrive to enjoy and to educate me. The breadth of information about angels across the various faiths, as well as the outstanding fold out pictures make this perhaps the best coffee table type book I have ever had. If you love angels you will love them even more when you have this to savour.
