David V. Tansley explores fascinating ideas from a wide variety of philosophies, cultures, and traditions. I recommend “Subtle Body Essence and Shadow” in the suggested reading section of Chapter 9: Unfriendly Energy in my book, YOUR BODY CAN TALK: HOW TO USE SIMPLE MUSCLE TESTING FOR HEALTH AND WELL BEING . I greatly enjoyed and appreciated the beautiful illustrations in “Subtle Body Essence and Shadow.”

Amazing book, I wish that this book was more widely available! I found this in my acupuncturist`s office one day and couldn`t put it down. I had to go and find a copy of my own! When it arrived at work, my colleague couldn`t keep her hands off it and will be buying her own copy as well!
A concise, and wonderful insight into our understandings of meridian lines / pathways / chakras / energies.. well written and fascinating illustrations to support. I am new to this subject for the past few years now, so it`s sure lightweight step in the right direction to further my interest. I will be buying more of David V Tansley books.
