These recordings were made by Ravi Shankar for Satyajit Ray`s 1955-1959 films that constitute `The Apu Trilogy` and were not performed nor produced by Satyajit Ray, the tracks do include incidental dialogue from the films. These recordings previously appeared on the 1978 LP Ravi Shankar - Apu Trilogy.
