1953-2013 Graphic designer, illustrator, professor in the department of Visual Communications at the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design (1991-2013), winner of the Golden Bird (1981) and Prešeren Fund Award (1996), also active in the field of marketing (author of the linden leaf sign for the campaign Slovenia, my country, member of the jury of the first Magdalena Festival 1999), animation, comics.

Papič is a graduate of the `Polish School`, ie. Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He studied Illustration with professor Janusz Stanny, chose the optionnal Poster class with Professor Daniel Szczechura, worked on the practical part of his graduating thesis in Animation and the theoretical part in Comics.

In slovenian graphic design he made a significant impact with his works with the following works: with posters (at the end of the 70`s and all 80`s, mainly for cultural events), the design of the linden leaf sign (in the 80`s), the prophetic and/or provocative covers of Mladina magazine (end of 80`s and in 90`s). He created more than ten short animated films (among others Mladina`s 10 days of the war for Slovenia, Each youth has a better tomorrow), worked as a set designer for films (among others Butnskala, Three contributions to the Slovenian frenzy), designed books (f.e. 10 days of the war for Slovenia, photo-monograph of Tone Stojko) and book covers (among others Tropical melancholy by Blaž Ogorevc).

In 1992 the Museum of Modern Art displayed Papič`s retrospective exhibition of graphic design, film set design and animation film Blagoglasja/Euphonies. The exhibition was accompanied by a monograph of the same name.

„Tri priloga slovenskoj ludosti” (Trije prispevki k slovenski blaznosti) je jugoslovenski i slovenački film iz 1983. godine.
