Ljiljana Blažeska,rođena u Skoplju 1944.godin. Završila Akademiju likovnih umetnosti i posdiplomske studije u Beogradu , u klasi profesorke Ljubice Cuce Sokić.
Ljiljana Blazeska was born in Skopje, Macedonia (in 1944). She spent her early childhood in her native city, where she experienced a strong Levantine tradition of the region, as well as some particular mythical inheritance, burdened with crudeness and lyricism at the same time. At the age of 11, her family moved to Belgrade, Serbia, the capital of then common state of Yugoslavia, where the surrounding spiritual atmosphere was more central Europe-oriented. The composite of two life perspectives generated certain creative inquietude, to be reflected later in her painting. Blazeska graduated from the Fine Arts Academy in Belgrade (painting department), where she also completed her master studies later. So far, she had over 20 individual exhibitions, as well as numerous group representations. Blazeska is a member of ULUS (Serbian Fine Arts Guild). Her art work was awarded many times in Serbia and ex-Yugoslavia. Her painting work remained by the same aesthetic roots, from the early beginnings, with some more or less slight modifications in technique. She is still faithful to the shelter space of archaic filial legends and oneirically founded personal mythology. This world is inhabited with winged creatures, mutants, princes and brides. One can certainly notice some elements of presentment in such a mood, but more substantially is that pictorial language Blazeska uses is devoid of any banal narrativity.
