A. M. Gaudin - Principles of Mineral Dressing
McGraw-Hill, New York, 1939
The past thirty years have witnessed the introduction of unparalleled changes in the art of dressing ores and minerals. These changes have included the natural evolution in machinery and also the introduction of radically new methods. Yet, in spite of the tremendous strides made by flotation and other adhesion processes, the older methods have retained a significant place in the art. The field is thus much wider than it was when mineral dressing was simply the mechanical preparation of ores. College instruction in this subject has therefore had to meet a new problem.
