Robert Harold Schuller (born September 16, 1926) is a retired American televangelist, pastor, motivational speaker, and author. He is principally known for the weekly Hour of Power television program which he began in 1970. He is also the founder of the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California, where the Hour of Power program was previously broadcast.

On the second day, they stopped for lunch at a little coffee shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As they munched their hamburgers, Bob was lost in thought. Just before their departure, a denominational repre-sentative had phoned him to say that there were sim-ply no halls to rent for the new church. `It`s impossible to find a meeting place,` he had commis-erated. `Impossible.`
Bob mulled the negative word over in his mind and finally blurted out, `It can`t be impossible.`
Arvella turned from the children and looked at him in confusion. `What?`
`There`s bound to be some place where we can hold services for the church,` Bob determined. `I know it can`t be impossible.`
Without another word, he grabbed a white paper nap-kin from the table, pulled a pen from his pocket, and began to write.
Possibility Thinking was born in that coffee shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico...
